Blue Diamond Cherry shrimp are small, hardy freshwater dwarf shrimp. They are suitable for beginners and are peaceful algae-eaters that are happiest in well-planted, fully cycled aquariums. Neocaridina are relatively easy to breed.Â
Regular weekly 20% waterchanges are recommended. Suitable for pH 6.5-8.0 and water temperature of 21-24ºC. They are sensitive to rapid changes in water conditions. They must be acclimatised slowly to new aquariums.Â
Sponge filters are ideal for use with shrimp.Â
Diet: Shrimp are scavengers that eat biofilm and algae. They can also eat algae wafers and blanched zucchini or cucumber.Â
Copper is deadly to shrimp.Â
